Well we thought this might be his last day at the skilled home, but the results came back positive. He still has Encephalitis so he will be there for another two weeks at least staying on the antibiotics 3 times a day.
We really don't know what this means yet except for he will now have two more weeks of Physical Therapy (6 times a week), Occupational Therapy (6 times a week) and antibiotics (3 times a day). This should be good to help with his recovery and keep him in a familiar place (even if he doesn't realize it consciously).
Thank you for your continued prayers and visits! Keep the cards coming as we enjoy reading them to him. It's always good to give your background on how he knows you as then he tends to remember more often.
We will continue his daily journal of food, activity, and visitors so please encourage him to write it down while you are there!
