Fun day with Taylor and Becca
Becca picked Brian up at 9:30 and went to Target, Safeway, and Rite Aid to get a few extra things for his place. Then we all went to the park, looking at some houses on the market, and back to Patriots Glen for lunch (cheeseburgers).

Moving into Patriots Glen in Bellevue
Moving day! Dad is now in a nice studio apartment and the staff and people who live there have been great. The food is also yummy. They have an exercise class every day at 10am which he has been attending and loves.
Uncle Ken, Aunt Nanch, Heath, and Becca moved him in that night. We all had most of his stuff there from the week prior and Brandon, Sharon, and Steve also helped bring stuff to make his room comfortable and homey.

Look at this 5 course meal!!
We where out and about today talking to the contractor and suppliers.
And when I talked about their interface with Brandon, they all responded with fear in their voice. Tomorrow, the living room furniture arrives. It should look 98% complete. Wow. Thank you all for your help in getting me thru my ordeal and thru the house renovation.

Hello from cool Arizona. In the low 30's last nite, maybe high 20's! Went to Ann and Don's with cousin Kathryn and Ed for dinner. Great food. Had a great time. Thank you all for you.

Trip down to Arizona
So since he isn't updating Facebook either, I am going to post what he send me..
Landed in Mesa, AZ. Great flights, great flight crews, and great company. Will return in 17 days.
Sitting in a large van to take people to the car rental place. A lady sitting next to us had a 3+ yr old and a 1yr old. I started chatting with the mom and making strange noises with the 3rd old. The no nthe way out, I said good luck with the #3 to the husband. We were all smiling and laughing and having a good time. Tell me, do I like people as much as I do now? Everyone I come across is so nice.
Going to bed in my house for the 3rd time. Can't settle down. Got up at 3:15 am. Yes, just repeating in case you did not believe me. Is very cool to be sleepimg here. Don't really remember, but I like all aspects of the house. The location. The layout. The three bedrooms. The new floor is fantastic. Very liveable and adaptable for multipurpose uses. When I am better it will be open for visitations.
Dinner with Kath and Ed and Ann and Don joined us. Then going to Ann and Dons for breakfast. Then going shopping. Then coming back for the walk thru. Will take a couple days. Brandon, be ready for multiple calls.

Since my dad has been having issues with his laptop, I thought it would be good to get him back onto Facebook where he can post real time status updates and pictures.

He is on his way to Arizona Wednesday the 9th with his sister. He will be there until the 26th enjoying his house, friends, and I am sure golfing in the sunshine!
Once he returns he will be moving out of his sister's home into Patriots Glen in Bellevue. He has been living with his sister and brother-in-law since Sept 1st and we can't thank them enough for hosting him!! They ensured he had a safe environment, took him to doctor's appointments, made sure he had 3 meals a day, and this list goes on!!
Patriots Glen is off of 148th in Bellevue just past Bellevue College. He will have his own studio apartment and this will hopefully be a nice transition place!
